Welcome to Jugería La Tropical, where we bring the vibrant flavors of Oaxaca to your table. Founded in 2008 by Jorge Aguirre and Maricela Jimenez, our family-owned restaurant is rooted in a passion for authentic Mexican cuisine.
With backgrounds in butchery and restaurant work, Jorge and Maricela began their culinary journey in Mexico City, selling homemade dishes from their home. After emigrating to the United States and working hard to support their family, they fulfilled their dream of opening Jugueria La Tropical.
